The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T

Thailand’s sport-car aficionados are in for a treat this year as the Ferarri family welcomes its latest Prancing Horse. Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T is the baby everyone has been waiting for. Sportier and more versatile than ever, it will be the first four-seater ever to have Ferarri’s latest turbo-charged V8 engine.

Style-wise, Ferarri's new ride gracefully combines the brand's iconic fastback sihouette with the lavish sophistication expected of a four-seater car. While completely nailing the aesthetic end, the GTC4 Lusso T also offers optimum comfort and function with rear-wheel only drive, four-wheel steering, boosted responsiveness to commands, lighter overall weight and an impressive 10.25 inch HD touchscreen. What more could you ask for, really?

A private preview held recently at Cavallino Motors Showroom in Bangkok invited VIP superfans of the supercar manufacturer to get a first look of the latest model. Nanadhamalee Bhirombhakdi, the managing director of Cavallino Motors—Thailand's only official Ferrari importer and service center—offers her professional insight on the GTC4 Lusso T. In addition, hear what the Thai fans of Ferrari have to say about the new Ferrari and of the brand itself.

Thailand is the second country among all ASEAN nations to debut this model. The car is aimed at drivers seeking a car that is sporty and versatile, and perfect for driving on a daily basis. Despite such impressive performance, the GTC4 Lusso T’s fuel consumption figures guarantee extended range, ideal for town driving or long trips. To meet diverse needs of drivers, this is the first time Ferrari is offering two types of engine in the same model. The GTC4 Lusso T’s V8 is compact and efficient. Whether a short trip or a long journey, on a snowy mountain or in the city, alone or with up to three companions, the GTC4 Lusso T offers performance and comfort, as well as a sophisticated and luxurious exterior.

Ferraris only become more valuable with time. For me, they're a good investment and also something I love. I take very good care of my car (F355 Berlinetta) and ensure it's in the best condition—it makes me happy. If you have a sporty Ferrari already, I think a GTC4 Lusso T is the perfect second Ferrari to own. In addition to its top-notch performance, it has a comfortable backseat for your family or golf gang.

My family is a big fan of Ferrari. My husband drives a Ferrari 458 Speciale, and I have driven a California since before we got married until today. My Ferrari is a sportscar that can be used in daily life and is suitable for the roads in Thailand. But now that I have a family, I'm looking to the GTC4 Lusso T, as it is a four-seater and good for driving long distance. From what I see, it is a comfortable car that still has the fierce and fiesty looks a Ferrari should have.

Advice for other ladies who also love speed: I recommend taking a supercar driving course. If you like fast driving or want to test your car’s performance, go to a circuit. Also, it's important to take road safety seriously; you have responsible for others on the road when you drive. Cavallino Motors has this class that you can take anytime.

Chinapol: This Ferrari is great for families. It's a sportscar with room in the back that can carry things, such as a golf bag, which makes it different from other Ferrari sportscars. It is also available in two types: V12 and V8 turbo.

Thirarat: Ferraris are known to be powerful, but I drive them everyday and it doesn't feel overwhelming or complicated. Sometimes I drive my Ferrari with my children. They love it. They are also happy when their father takes them on out-of-town trips with Ferrari Owners Club Thailand, which happens about two-three times a year.
