Sumptuous and handsome, Bentley’s Flying Spur V8 was designed for those who demand excellence on the road. At Bangkok’s most luxurious residential project to date, 98 Wireless by Sansiri, one of such—finished in British racing green—commands attention.
The sedan, with a customised car plate of วย 98, exclusively serves as the condominium’s limousine. With just a phone call to the butler or through the 98 Wireless mobile application, residents can pre-book services to anywhere within the Bangkok Metropolitan area. Ekarach Nophaket, general manager at Bentley Thailand, tells us more about this plush collaboration.
How long did it take for Bentley to design and put together the car?
It took us around 48 months to custom craft the car at our factory in Crewe, England, and then around six months before it was unveiled at 98 Wireless.
What are the special features of the Bentley Flying Spur V8?
Its four-litre twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 507 horsepower and produces a maximum torque of 660 NM. The exterior of the Flying Spur V8 features a powerful presence—innovative super-forming techniques create a streamlined and muscular silhouette with taut, flowing lines. Inside, details are handcrafted with precision, showcasing a sophisticated and sumptuous interior. Veneered panels wrap around the doors and their flowing lines continue through the car. The result is a sedan that beautifully fuses luxury and performance together.
How do you think Bentley and 98 Wireless’ branding align?
I would say that both Bentley and 98 Wireless put a lot of emphasis on craftsmanship. Every single detail at the condominium was meticulously chosen or put together for the residents. As a bespoke car-maker, we can identify with that level of service and we genuinely appreciate that they have chosen Bentley as their exclusive limousine.
