Two former models took a while to get back in the swing of things This valentine’s, our spotlight falls on a pair of newlyweds, Atichat Rucksajit and Jittima Wattanasin. Since it’s also Chinese New Year, our setting for the cover shoot is the quirky Shanghai Mansion, a boutique hotel in the bustling midst of Chinatown. As the session starts, the former models seem a little camerashy; Atichat’s especially uneasy. But the couple’s cheeky badinage between shots soon works its charms and they warm each other up. For the cover, Jittima is dressed in a total look by Tom Ford while her husband is decked out in Brioni. Do they remember their first Valentine’s Day back when they started dating eight years ago? Jittima’s not sure. “We may have had dinner together,” she suggests. Apparently, it’s not really their thing. “It’s a nice day to celebrate love,” says her husband. “But for us, we don’t really think of it as an extraordinarily special occasion like the younger lovers may do.” But as you can tell from the pictures, and the full story on page 110, they don’t really need a special day.behind-the-scenes-Atichat-Rucksajit-Jittima-Wattanasin-07 behind-the-scenes-Atichat-Rucksajit-Jittima-Wattanasin-14
