The Bangkok urbanite lifestyle of mall-hopping, exploring new restaurant openings and catching the latest movies on show is no doubt a fun way of living life in the big city. Yet, there will be times when you’re in search of something a little more creative—more out-of-the-box plans to make with friends or for a fun first date. As usual, The Commons has you covered with a line-up of exciting workshops this month. All workshops are held at The Commons Kitchen on the third floor. Put these on your May agenda now:

When: Saturday, May 26, 10am-5pm (1 hour lunch break included)

As far as cool and creative workshops go, it’s difficult to beat learning to make your own bread, especially our favourite sourdough! With Sourdough Making for Beginners, The Commons has invited avid health advocate Tanya Stockdale to provide you with the rare opportunity to make your own sourdough bread from scratch, starting from creating your own starter dough to choosing the right flours and finally adding different flavours to the bread for a delicious result. That’s not all—the workshop will also teach you to make your own gluten-free sourdough pancakes and chocolate sourdough cake!

Perfect for health-conscious foodies, the workshop costs 7,500 baht per person, inclusive of all equipment and ingredients. Reservations can be made three days in advance here.

The workshop is 1,200 baht per person, including all ingredients, toppings and equipment. Reservations should be made three days in advance. Book here.
